The Green Devils kicked off the 2008 season in style, pounding the Robinson HS Lancers 47-13. The offense was led by junior running back Ben Sams who rushed for 147 yds on 13 carries and 2 TD's.  Sophmore running back Rashad Lewis addded 2 more TD's and the offensive line did an outstanding job of controlling the line of scrimmage. The offense finished with over 340 yards of total offense.

The Green Devil defense again showed itself to be one of the best in the county allowing under 150 total yards and forcing 3 turnovers. The ability to get 11 helmets to the ball make the Green Devil defense exciting to watch!
